Riichirou Inagaki, Yusuke Murata’s Eyeshield 21 Manga Gets New Chapter for 21st Anniversary – News

(*21*) publishes new 55-web page chapter on January 29


The fourth and fifth mixed 2024 subject of (*21*)‘s Weekly Shonen Jump journal revealed on Monday that the journal will publish a brand new chapter of Riichirou Inagaki and Yūsuke Murata‘s Eyeshield 21 American soccer manga within the journal’s ninth subject on January 29. The new chapter can have 55 pages together with a shade web page, and can commemorate the 21st anniversary of the manga.

Inagaki (Dr. Stone storywriter) and Murata (One-Punch Man artist) launched the Eyeshield 21 manga in July 2002. Viz Media launched all 37 volumes in North America, and it describes the story:

Wimpy Sena Kobayakawa has been working away from bullies all his life. But when the soccer gear comes on, issues change—Sena’s velocity and uncanny potential to elude huge bullies simply would possibly give him what it takes to grow to be an awesome highschool soccer hero!

The manga impressed a 145-episode tv anime sequence in 2005-2008, and Sentai Filmworks launched the sequence on dwelling video in 2010-2011. Crunchyroll is streaming the sequence on-line.

Murata posted an anime brief for the manga in August, which he directed and Village Studio animated to commemorate the manga’s 21st anniversary.
