Double XP is coming to MW3 to have fun Thanksgiving, but some max-level players aren’t happy with its arrival.
MW3‘s arrival has been a paradox of kinds, as the latest CoD title has players battling on maps from 2009’s Modern Warfare 2, albeit with the bells and whistles of newer CoD titles.
At its core, Modern Warfare 3 options an abundance of content material to grind by way of, with 36 weapons boasting ranges and camos to unlock, alongside 55 ranges to race by way of. While it’s not overly difficult, the grind may be very time-consuming as strategies of gaining XP are nerfed to the floor.

Double XP occasions make the grind simpler, and with an event inbound, it’ll actually make some players’ lives simpler. However, a big portion of the participant base isn’t thrilled with the arrival of the event.
MW3 players react to Double XP event
Shared to Twitter/X, CharlieIntel confirmed that an upcoming Double XP event is coming to MW3. Starting November 22, players can earn Double XP, Double Weapon XP, and Double Battle Pass XP till November 27.
In concept, it’s an ideal gesture, as many players will admire the bump in XP positive aspects throughout all core development techniques. The downside right here is that for players who’re max stage, this event means nothing to them.

Since Modern Warfare 2019, a core criticism has been the general development system. Previous CoD titles experimented with higher-level caps and likewise had a standard Prestige system, giving players infinite replayability.
MW3 doesn’t function a standard Prestige system, and with the stage cap set at 55, max-level players discover further XP positive aspects ineffective.
