PlayStation 5 and PC Madden 24 players are dealing with annoying popping audio and disappearing sound channels in the recreation right now. A put up on the Madden subreddit says that, throughout video games, the audio is reducing out on half their soundbar, then returning with some static, seemingly occurring each time a play ends and a cutscene exhibits.
Our personal Nilay Patel says he’s having the similar situation on his PS5 by means of a Dolby Atmos rig, even when he switches the output to simply stereo. Throughout the Reddit put up, different customers say they hear loud popping sounds every few seconds or once they pause the recreation. The sound is outwardly dangerous sufficient that one person is fearful it’s going to damage their sound system by taking part in the recreation. Another says the audio is popping and reducing out in the right channel of their headset.
For PC customers not less than, somebody discovered a hilariously complex workaround that includes turning… mainly the whole lot off. I’m not capable of take a look at this right now (and Nilay’s received the PS5 model of the recreation, so he can’t both), however commenters on the video say it really works.
We’ve reached out to Electronic Arts to see if it’s working on a repair. We’ll replace right here if we get a response.
