2 terrorists killed during intelligence-based operation in KP’s Khyber: ISPR – Pakistan

Security forces have killed two terrorists during an intelligence-based operation (IBO) in the Bara space of Khyber (*2*)’s Khyber district, the army’s media wing stated on Saturday.

The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) press launch stated safety forces carried out the operation on the reported presence of terrorists in the realm on the evening between August 18 and 19.

“During the conduct of the operation, intense fireplace trade happened between personal troops and terrorists and resultantly two terrorists have been despatched to hell.

“The killed terrorists remained actively concerned in terrorist actions in opposition to safety forces in addition to [in the] killing of harmless residents,” the ISPR stated.

It added that sanitisation of the realm was being carried out to remove some other terrorists discovered in the neighborhood.

“Locals of the realm appreciated the operation and expressed their full help to remove the menace of terrorism,” the press launch reads.

Security forces had killed two terrorists earlier this week in an analogous operation, which was carried out in the Ramzak space of North Waziristan on the evening of August 14 and 15.
